PAYMENT POLICY
Your registration will cover attendance at the event at the location noted for that event. Please be sure to check in at the registration desk at the event. Check/Cash registrations must pay at the event. Workshop programs require check/cash registration payments prior to the event. Checks can be mailed to SMPS Nebraska, PO Box 390093, Omaha, NE 68139-0093. When mailing check please include registration confirmation.
Please note the refund policy below. No-shows will receive an invoice after the event. All invoices for no-shows or non-payment at the time of the event will include a $10 invoicing fee and will be due upon receipt.
REFUND POLICY
All sales are final. No refunds unless requested 3 business days prior to an event in writing or by email. Refunds for workshops require notice 5 business days prior to the event in writing or by email. There is a 15% cancellation fee for all refunds. Credits may be issued to be used for future event registrations in lieu of refund.

Gain invaluable insight from AEC industry professionals in this fast paced table swapping adventure. Tables will be set up for each of the six SMPS Domains of Practice with a new wine to sample along the way. The domain pairings are:

Quinn Texmo, CPSM – Domain #1: Marketing Research
Quinn Texmo has been in the A/E/C industry for 9 years, and has been an active member of SMPS her entire career. She is passionate about advocating for, educating and connecting marketers and business developers within our industry. Currently, she is the Emerging Business Group Leader for JEO Consulting group where she is responsible for co-leading 6 departments. Prior to that, Quinn worked for Kiewit where she held various marketing, business development and strategic roles. She is past-president for both SMPS Nebraska and CREW Omaha Metro. Quinn earned her Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) designation through the Society for Marketing Professional Services in 2012. In 2013, Quinn was awarded the Ron Garikes Student Scholarship through SMPS, a scholarship given out to the most promising students pursuing a career in the architecture/engineering/construction industries.
Quinn graduated top of her class for her Master’s degree in Organizational Communication in 2014 from the University of Nebraska Omaha, and was selected to deliver the commencement address. Additionally, she holds a B.S. in Journalism, Advertising, Public Relations and Speech Communication from the University of Nebraska Omaha.
Craig Park, FSMPS, Associate AIA – Domain #2: Marketing Planning
CRAIG PARK, FSMPS, ASSOCIATE AIA, has been active in marketing and operations in the building industry for more than 40 years. Craig serves as the SMPS Fellow’s “Chapter Champion” for the Nebraska and Kansas City Chapters, and as an Associate Director of the AIA Omaha Chapter’s Board of Directors. Craig served as SMPS National President in 2002/2003, and was honored by the Society in 1994 as Chapter President of the Year (San Francisco), in 2005 as a Distinguished Life Member, and in 2007 with the Weld Coxe Marketing Achievement Award for his career achievements. Craig is a contributor to SMPS’ “Marketing Handbook for the Design & Construction Professional” (2010) and the SMPS Foundation’s “AEC Business Development: The Decade Ahead” (2014), and he is the author of two books on managing a successful professional service firm, “The Architecture of Value: Building Your Professional Practice” (2011) and “The Architecture of Image: Branding Your Professional Practice” (2013). Craig holds a BS in Architecture from California State Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo.
Terry Hawley, CPSM – Domain #3: Client and Business Development
Terry is the Client Development Manager for Terracon’s Nebraska operations. He has more than 15 years of experience in the industry, has a range of experience. His experience with both architectural and engineering firms includes developing relationships with clients, helping to serve existing clients, and managing the proposal and presentation process. Terry serves as a member of Terracon’s internal “Major Pursuits” team.
Michelle Hilding, CPSM – Domain #4: SOQs/Proposals

As a past SMPS Nebraska president and Certified Professional Services Marketer, Michelle Hilding has strong ties to marketing. Past and current job responsibilities, roles of leadership, and participation in ongoing education and professional development have added to her knowledge of the industry. With the last 12 years spent as a Sr. Marketing Coordinator for Lamp Rynearson, Michelle’s background assists her in preparing proposals to win work for her firm.
With a B.S. degree in English & Speech Communications, Michelle has held additional roles with SMPS Nebraska’s Board of Directors, including Board Secretary and Director of Membership. In addition, she has served in the past on committees for organizations including CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) Omaha Metro, SAME (Society of American Military Engineers), and the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce.
Michelle lives in Omaha with her husband Matt and two children, Brett & Brooke.
Barbara Shuck, FSMPS, CPSM – Domain #5: Promotional Activity
Barbara Shuck, FSMPS, CPSM shares her energy, passion and 30+ years of experience to teach, challenge, motivate, and inspire marketers on their individual journeys. She has worked for general contracting, engineering, construction management, and architectural firms, and is currently Firm-wide Marketing Communications Manager at Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects. She is Past President for the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), and served as Secretary/Treasurer (2009-2013), Chair of the Build Business Conference Committee (Denver-2008), and Chair of the Marketing Communications Awards (2006). She was a contributing author for A/E/C Business Development: The Decade Ahead published by the SMPS Foundation, and has written and presented extensively at A/E/C industry events. She has an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management (Glendale, AZ), and a BA in Communication Arts and French from Washburn University (Topeka, KS).
Tracy Mumford, LEED AP – Domain #6: Organizational Management
Tracy Mumford, LEED AP, is Schemmer’s Director of Marketing & Business Development. Tracy has 24 years of experience in the A/E/C industry. He is well-practiced in the development and implementation of marketing plans, new business prospecting and client management. Tracy is currently managing marketing efforts across all of Schemmer’s target markets and supports business development efforts in 6 office locations across the Midwest. In addition to serving on Schemmer’s board of directors, Tracy serves on the board of directors of the American Red Cross-Heartland Chapter, is the past Chapter President of the Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), and graduate of Leadership Omaha – Class 34.
