Moderator: Kurt Johnson
Kurt Johnson has over 30 years of professional photographic experience, originating in the photojournalism field, with an emphasis in architecture. Originally trained as an architectural photographer, Kurt’s work has been published in several national magazines and publications, including Architectural Digest, and currently photographs spaces for some of America’s largest architectural and engineering firms.
Along with still photography, Kurt has decades of experience shooting and producing video, and has worked for companies such as HDR, ESPN, Union Pacific, as well as the major television networks: ABC, CBS and NBC.
Kurt’s travels have taken him to the four corners of the United States, as well as abroad. With his extensive travel, and love for nature, a new aspect of his business has grown and is a very important component of his work: natural healing botanical photography. His landscapes and botanical images are now hanging in many healthcare facilities throughout the United States, including the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Kurt continues his passion for both still and video photography by always having his cameras handy, and he lives with a deep gratitude for his ability to make pictures and video that inform, inspire and heal.
