PAYMENT POLICY
Your registration will cover attendance at the event at the location noted for that event. Please be sure to check in at the registration desk at the event. Check/Cash registrations must pay at the event. Workshop programs require check/cash registration payments prior to the event. Checks can be mailed to SMPS Nebraska, PO Box 390093, Omaha, NE 68139-0093. When mailing check please include registration confirmation.
Please note the refund policy below. No-shows will receive an invoice after the event. All invoices for no-shows or non-payment at the time of the event will include a $10 invoicing fee and will be due upon receipt.
REFUND POLICY
All sales are final. No refunds unless requested 3 business days prior to an event in writing or by email. Refunds for workshops require notice 5 business days prior to the event in writing or by email. There is a 15% cancellation fee for all refunds. Credits may be issued to be used for future event registrations in lieu of refund.

Join SMPS Nebraska for a hands-on Adobe InDesign workshop built specifically for AEC marketers looking to improve proposal efficiency, streamline workflows, and create more polished deliverables.
Led by Julie Shaffer, FSMPS, CPSM, attendees can register for either the morning or afternoon sessions individually, or attend both sessions for a discounted full-day experience – members save $60 and non-members save $75 when registering for both workshops together.
Please bring a laptop with Adobe InDesign 2026 installed, as both sessions are highly interactive. Attendees may also receive SMPS CEUs under Domain 4: Proposals for attending the event.
Lunch will be provided to those attending the full-day session.
Morning Session – InDesign Fundamentals (Skills Level: Beginner+)
This fan-favorite includes tips and best practices for creating and using styles in proposals to strengthen your foundational knowledge and improve your everyday workflow. You will learn:
- A quick refresh on InDesign basics
- Leveraging AI tools within InDesign
- Paragraph styles
- Character styles
- Object styles
- Tips and tricks for organization and consistency
- Q&A session
Afternoon Session – Level Up: InDesign Intermediate (Skill Level: Intermediate)
Ready to go beyond the basics? This intermediate session is designed for capable InDesign users who want help working smarter and faster while creating high-quality deliverables. You will learn:
- A quick InDesign refresh
- Leveraging AI tools within InDesign for AEC projects
- Efficient creation of project sheets, resumes, schedules, and organizational charts
- Table and cell styles
- Nested styles
- GREP styles
- Workflow automation with styles
- CC libraries and team collaboration
- Q&A session
