PAYMENT POLICY
Your registration will cover attendance at the event at the location noted for that event. Please be sure to check in at the registration desk at the event. Check/Cash registrations must pay at the event.  Workshop programs require check/cash registration payments prior to the event. Checks can be mailed to SMPS Nebraska, PO Box 390093, Omaha, NE 68139-0093.  When mailing check please include registration confirmation.

Please note the refund policy below. No-shows will receive an invoice after the event.  All invoices for no-shows or non-payment at the time of the event will include a $10 invoicing fee and will be due upon receipt.

REFUND POLICY
All sales are final.  No refunds unless requested 3 business days prior to an event in writing or by email.  Refunds for workshops require notice 5 business days prior to the event in writing or by email.  There is a 15% cancellation fee for all refunds.  Credits may be issued to be used for future event registrations in lieu of refund.

Speaker:     Chris D. Rickman, FSMPS, CPSM / Preconstruction Manager, Nabholz Construction Corporation

Speaker Bio:

Chris Rickman, FSMPS, CPSM, is the Preconstruction Manager for Nabholz' Southwest operations. In his role, he is responsible for managing the team of preconstruction specialists and participates in design decisions, evaluations, studies, value engineering and analysis, scheduling, and constructability reviews – as well as assisting the operations team throughout the buyout process. Chris has the responsibility to be a strong client and market leader.

Chris started in the A/E/C industry, in 1990, working for a local structural engineering firm as a junior CAD technician. He is a firm believer that leadership and learning go hand-in-hand. His business acumen comes from many firm operational roles including marketing and business development, financial oversight, business operations, and overseeing IT needs.

Chris’ passion to serve as an educational advocate drives him to stay abreast of industry-related trends and to regularly present and speak on a diverse range of topics. He has delivered presentations and educational seminars to the Society for Marketing Professional Services, American Council of Engineering Companies, American Institute of Architects, and American Society of Civil Engineers at the chapter, regional, and national levels.

Chris became a Fellow of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) in 2013. He has served many leadership roles in the Society locally, regionally, and nationally, including president of SMPS Oklahoma in 2006–2007 and president of the Society’s board of directors in 2018-2019.
