She travels around the United States helping community managers and professionals engage their communities in the work that they do to further their careers, create prosperity in their communities, and foster outreach to new audiences - in addition to speaking about not just overcoming adversity, but using it as a catalyst for incredible personal and community growth. Her remarkable story has been published by entities such as Today.com, ChristianPost.com, and Adoption.com.
Pamela was recognized by Mark Zuckerberg at the 2017 Facebook Communities Summit for her work with her Facebook support group I AM ADOPTION (IAA). Founded over 13 years ago, IAA is the largest open conversation about adoption dedicated to the support and celebration of the diversity of the adoption experience. With over 7,000 members, IAA strives to blow open the historically closed doors of communication between adoptees, biological parents, adoptive parents, and foster parents in one online forum.
Pamela holds a graduate marketing certificate from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication from St. Edward’s University. She is currently studying Sustainability Management at the University of Minnesota. Pamela lives in Omaha, with her engineer husband, Joseph, and their dog, Indiana Bones.
