Key representatives of this project are Noddle Development, HDR, CBRE|MEGA, and Kiewit Construction. A panel will join us to present insights about the new HDR global headquarters currently under construction in Aksarben Village. They will share how the innovative design of this building and its footprint will enhance Aksarben Village and provide exciting new retail and dining options for Omaha.

Ted Zetzman, Noddle Executive Vice President & Director of Development

Ted joined Jay Noddle in 1994 working on fee based project management development services of office buildings for corporate clients. Ted’s years of commercial brokerage experience combined with strong analytical background led to involvement in several downtown redevelopments as well as suburban projects including planning, site acquisition, financial modeling, zoning, entitlements, and municipal incentives.

Ted served as project manager for the conception, design, and construction of the Omaha FBI headquarters as a GSA “design excellence” project. Most recently Ted has been the project executive on the 250,000 sf HDR corporate headquarters building in Aksarben Village, Kiewit Corporate headquarters in Omaha’s NoDo district, and lead on the 480 acre mixed-use West Farm (former Boys Town) project.

Zac Gemar, Noddle Owner's Construction

A successful business relationship with Jay Noddle led to Zac joining Noddle Companies in 2007. As the Vice President of Construction, Zac is responsible for the execution of Noddle Companies’ building projects. Zac plays an integral role in consultant selection, design, cost control, budget monitoring, risk mitigation, design development, scheduling, value analysis, quality control, & municipal negotiations. With more than 18 years in the industry, Zac has successfully completed over 2,000,000sf of construction.

Paul Cox, CBRE|MEGA Senior Project Manager

As a Senior Project Manager for CBRE|MEGA, Paul Cox is responsible for managing major capital investment, tenant improvements, and ground up projects from inception through completion. Paul is accountable for managing the client’s objectives and delivering their project on time and budget through effective management of project planning, design, construction coordination, budget, schedule and close out. Paul has a unique professional background which includes architecture, project management and construction. The skills he brings from these multiple disciplinary experiences have been a valuable asset to our clients and CBRE|MEGA.

Tom Trenolone, HDR Design Director

Tom is an architect and design advocate with the international architecture and engineering firm of HDR. He holds degrees in Architecture and Advertising Journalism. He is President and founder of daOMA (design alliance OMAha) a non-profit focused on greater design awareness in communities’ through lectures and discourse.  Tom served as the Design Principal for “1917” the new world headquarters for HDR. Notably, Tom was the recipient of the Kagan Design Fellowship where his research entitled “Speed, Sex, Firepower” studied how large automotive companies, couture fashion houses and the U.S. military maintain their creative edge.

Lisa Miller, HDR Design Architect

Lisa is an architect and designer at HDR, contributing to the design of its corporate-commercial practice, and leading projects such as The River’s Edge development in Council Bluffs, the West Farm development at Boy’s Town, and HDR’s new global headquarters in Aksarben.  Lisa graduated with a Master’s of Architecture from the University of Nebraska.  After graduation, she moved to Los Angeles for five years, gaining experience in both local and international projects, one of which required living in China for three months.  In her 12+ years of experience, Lisa has led the discovery of fresh solutions for clients, delivered thoughtful and creative interpretations of programs, and produces architecture that creates better environments and experiences for users.

Josh Render, Kiewit Senior Project Manager

Josh Render is a Senior Project Manager working with Kiewit Building Group.  Josh has worked across the country on multiple types of construction projects including courthouses, power plants, a baseball stadium, high-rises and convention centers.   In his spare time Josh enjoys spending time with his family, running the kids to events, and playing golf if there is time.
