October 04, 2018
7:30 AM - 9:00 AM

Schemmer Associates
1044 North 115th Street, Suite #300
Omaha, NE 68154

Mentoring is a kind of interpersonal relationship whose purpose is to influence career progress and personal well-being. The relationship can be long- or short-term, depending on the intensity and needs of the individuals involved.

Mentoring suits the core values of SMPS. The mission of SMPS is to be the premier source of education and information for marketers of professional services in the built and natural environments. Mentoring is a means for both mentors and protégés to enhance their understanding of the industry and develop a mutually beneficial career program. Together they will:
• Identify objectives, goals and developmental needs
• Define and establish a plan to accomplish goals
• Meet regularly to review and evaluate progress
• Use the Domains of Practice and Gap Analysis as tools to improve understanding of the industry and to set goals
R.S.V.P.s are required to attend this meeting by noon on Monday, October 1.

Cancellations accepted up to 24-hours in advance. Please note:  This is a free meeting. However, no-shows will be billed $20 to cover meal costs.
